'08 The Summer of Wing Chun

It's been a good summer for WCCI. Many of our students were able to visit and train with Grand Master Chris Chan in San Francisco. The Placerville CA School has built and opened their kwoon. San Luis Obispo CA and Morrison Colorado have begun the process of opening their schools and have successfully hosted my Master Series Seminar. We also have a school being developed in Portland Oregon and interests in Portland Maine, New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, Las Vegas and Mississippi.



I can not express what an honor it is for all of us to train with the Greatest Living Martial Artist On Earth! In November we will be attending the ceremony in Hawaii for Grand Master Chris Chan where he will receive the "Best Of The Best" award from the Martial Arts Hall Of Fame.

This summer also marks our participation on MySpace.com/WingChunClub which we have been fortunate in making many new Wing Chun friends from all over the world. If you have not joined us I urge you to do so right now! It's free and is a wonderful way of
bringing the many WC/WT/VT factions together as one.



On August 29th Radio Station KSLG will be hosting an event for the returning students
at Humboldt State University. Humboldt Wing Chun Kung Fu Academy will be attending the
event with free passes, brochures and demonstrations. There will be bands, food, assorted entertainment and vendors. It will be held at Wildberries in Arcata CA from 2-6pm. Don't miss it!
