This marks the third year of sifu Z's Wichuwa-Ka (Wing Chun Walk Across America). The Honolulu, Lone Pine and Arcata clubs are all doing well and have established themselves prominently within their communities. Each club also has their own blogs so members can relate their training to their on-line Wing Chun "brothers and sisters".Sadly the 1087 Cage Fighting Gym has closed it's doors and moved to Eureka. Fortunately the Arcata Chapter now has an amazing new location at Ballet Arcata. 50' ceilings and enough space to hold 100 students! Instructor Noelle Burningham has relocated from Hawaii to Humboldt county and now heads the Wing Chun Club (Arcata Chapter).
Sifu Z will be teaching seminars in California and Hawaii during the months of January and February before returning to the Pacific Crest Trail. This year he is scheduled to complete the over 2600 mile trail from Mexico to Canada.
